I'll have to try the MiniAmp out - still so many possibilities to explore in ManyGuitar itself.amoebe wrote:Sounds like you're having fun jammingHave you tried to route NuBi through Manyminiamp yet. It's the boxiest organ you'll ever hear

A match made in heaven - with those ManyGuitar lead patches the phrasing seems so natural - it lends it self to self-indulgence shall we sayI love the sound of Manyguitar and Nubi together
As far as backings for this sort of stuff, the animation of Nubi wtih the rotary sim really gave things a lift - I often prefer it to a synth pad or comping on elec piano for this sort of thing and ManyGuitar cuts through any backing incredibly well so you have no trouble hearing everything.

f**k Paypal.
This is going to take longer I'm afraid.
It looks like my Paypal account became magically unverified and unauthorised at some stage without explanation. I now can't re-verify it because it only gives me the option to verify against a credit card from 2 years ago that I destroyed.
Message with support - ManyGuitar will have to wait a bit longer I'm afraid.

Been through it and I still haven't got Paypal that works.
How about starting a thread for online conpanies that send loads of useless autoresponders - autoresponder hell - yet never solve the problem.
btw mrs kevvvvv paid for my MT Guitar upgrade with her Paypal account

Hi Guys
First - Sorry for the trouble a couple have with Paypal .... seriously though it is one of the best solutions so far for us here. We have tried and used other companies in the past but Paypal has been the best so far. I really am sorry that some of you have trouble with it. You can always email me and we can try and sort another method in this case. No Problem at all, we can work out something.
Edit: Read Posts below about Using a Credit Card without a Paypal account. You do not have to be a Paypal member.
As for you other guys ... Thanks again ... I am so glad you guys are all enjoying ManyGuitar!
kevvvvv - You got a good WIFE! Hang on to her
Anyways .... Cheers again Friends!

Well I got a reply from them. Unbelievable!
They very helpfully tell me how I can complete the "Expanded Use" process on their website. However, it all pretty much depends on your ability to find words, and functions named "Expanded Use" which are unfortunately not in existence in the pages they have directed me to.
In the end I buggered around with my account and card listings in a fairly haphazard way and managed to get them to send me a snail mail with my authorisation number. So I will need to wait until this arrives in Australia (presumably from the US) so that I can log in and complete the process - that's of course if the function to complete this process actually exists - I haven't seen any evidence of it yet, so far it is not working at all how it's described in my extremely helpful support mail.

Caleb,
I just went through this the past couple of weeks cause my CC date expired and i wanted to change cards anyways.
If you log in to paypal, go to profile, then under Financial Information, choose credit card, you should see under you CC list, a large button saying something like "Enter expanded use code" or something like that (mines gone now). Thats where you enter the code that you'd find on your CC bill (i just got mine on my online CC bill access through my bank - took a few days to show up there).
User the number you see before the word PAYPAL in your credit card charge and you should be good to go.

You know what is strange......
You do not need to be a registered Paypal User to Buy our Products.
When you click on the link to purchase on our website it should open a PayPal page that has a Choice of either using a credit card if you are not a member or Using your PayPal Account Balance etc if you are a Member.
But...
Sometimes because you may be a Paypal member already it may not offer you the Credit Card Payment method right off the bat. In this case sometimes you just need to use another Browser to load that first Paypal purchase page and in most cases the Links to Use Credit card will then be there.
Then you should be able to pay with any Credit card Registered or Not with Paypal.
Just clearing that up for you all.

I just cleared my history, cookies etc. and reloaded it and I got an option to pay with credit card.
Now purchased.

Awesome ...It worked for you!
Strange eh? That Paypal forces you to use your account through the cookies. It should still give that option though for credit card without using your account.
Kind of inconvenient as we have seen here, for them to do that. I will contact them about this.
Links sent to you.
Thanks Caleb.

Paul,
I have just started fooling with ManyGuitar and it is a very interesting synth. I like the fact that you can load any Wusiksnd format soundset into it and then fool with the amp settings.
One thing you might want to check into though is that Fl Studio's VST wrapper displays the name of the plug as "Eve One."
Thanks,
John

The Name displayed will change with the next Build as far as i know. (It is only doing this in a few hosts)
It is a completely different synth / sampler than Eve One and has some custom coding done with and for us. So this was just overlooked on the first release.
The proper name will display in future versions.
As i said before ....
It has been the Only bug so far that has surfaced.
Pretty good i think
Enjoy ....
If you have them.... Try running the ManyTone Fitch Cello sets thru some of the presets
Now that is Twisted.
