Well to be fair, I think it relates to the whole "Apu" thing. I mean it would be like titling a post "Rock On Step N' Fetch It!", because to some Apu is the Indian equivalent to that racist stereotype.

Just something to consider before walking into the minefield that is ethnic stereotypes.

(oops, not the same kind of "Indian" I thought -- there's Powhatan blood in me but none from the subcontinent)

Interesting piece of work. I wonder whether they've made a family of electric veenas too. Interchangeable electronic resonant toombas would be nice.

No offence in my comment to any race, religion, or belief. It was a quote from Apu of The Simpsons beacuse the old title of the thread. That is all. I didn't take into account that are probably not a whole lot of Simpsons fans here. Edited. I love everyone in this world unless they give me a good reason not to.

Well, Meffy, I was fooled too. All because of that Kris Columbo guy that said to his wife he was going to India, while he was having a party with some american beauties !

Nice instrument though, although too many strings for my taste, and not exactly a slim neck !
Maybe it is meant to play quatre-mains on it !?
