Building a workstation/desk...

Hi guys,

I've decided that I am going to try and build my own workstation/desk. I was wondering if anyone out there has went ahead and done this themselves. If so, what advice could you give to a DIY newbie such as myself? Any websites you can direct me to?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Measure everything several times. Nothing worse than making a side panel 2 mm short and having to figure how it can be put together without looking like ass.

I know the desire to build something can be great but it might be more cost-effective to go with one of these:

Probably cost you about the same and you do have to put them together. So, that's kind of like making it yourself. I have one of these and it's very, very solid.
