Not a misunderstanding. The guys at IL are quite clear about it. They meant for it to be in GC before being available for download. They spin it on the basis of the DW importer not being ready, but the fact is they put a boxed version out in retail channels, and didn't make the same version available for download, even as a "Beta".
I'm the only one of 80,000 customers who saw that as an anti-customer move. Oh well.
