I´m working on a funny version of "Satisfaction" and I would be glad to get some advice on the thingie.
I posted it on The Auditorium, over here : http://www.audioshots.com/auditorium/vi ... php?t=3232

fun! it's goofy and krinkly ... very anti-rock. :-)

coupla comments:

- not sure about the computer voice. it's low in the mix, which makes it sound like an afterthought. also, it's perhaps a too-easy solution to finding a way to send up jagger's voice.

- i'd love to hear the beat get all krinkly along with the sounds, skipped beats, extra beats, jumping tempos?

Poepe, well done - sorry I don't have sugesstions, like the stupid robovoice and the primitive beat,
but just build up more quirkiness and it could be extended. Again: :hihi: :hihi:

I think it'd be a lot funnier, a lot faster (think the tempo of Devo's cover of Satisfaction). And bring them vocals up some more. If you have Melodyne or something similar I'd even play with the pitch of the vocals.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

I realy thank you very much. I needed another view on the booring boumboum riff. Unbelieveble that such a SIMPLE groove was nearly every year nr 1 of all times !

Thanks again !
