JackDark is trying to make the world better, and you're trying to complain about problems with the world, and his solutions for them. what is the meaning of your life? to make the world worse off? listen buddy, you need to chill out and do something useful, stop trying to heckle him, it isnt getting you, me, or anyone else anywhere, ok?aciddose wrote:whyt;

And a smaller .dll is important to whom, exactly? Oh yeah, just you.if you had been paying attention for the last year, you would have found i more than anyone desire important properities of objects i build and use,
Talk about twisted logic. People are using the tools that work for them. That should tell you a lot about xhip. And shows what you know about 'real' when it comes to artists.while i spend much time fighting against individuals who would rather have a fancy gui without it actually being an interface to something real underneath. if everyone actually cared about the quality of an instrument rather than its looks, or features which are not required by real artists, they would be using xhip. but are they?
What a load of self-deluded, maturbatory twaddle.in the real world, people will not only ask for the blue and red gui, they will demand it. they will want to be able to switch between them at will, and they will want to be able to make their own versions with a background image of the latest pop whore. will these people care about the instrument? no. they only care that they presds a button, and the instrument makes a sound that pleases them, they want it to make them feel like they are melting, into the pool of inanimate inert goo that accurately represents them.
most of the market for audio software is made up of these people, very few real artists use software in comparison.
You mean the ones people make music with. Yeah, thats terrible. Everyone knows 'real' artists dont make music, they use xhip instead.most companies with sound business strategy in this market are producing the one-key-magic software with fancy graphics and useless frill features that the market desires. i wont bother naming anyone specifically, just take a look around at the most successful products!
So you complain when people want a better GUI from you, but you think its okay to complain about the size of a .dll by someone else.when i mentioned what i did to jackdark, i intended to help him to improve his creations in ways i thought he might be interested in. had he come to me suggesting such improvements to my software, i would have been very thankful. i ask people for suggestions and the best they can come up with is "better gui" or "more patches" or "moog filters!!!!!11111one" and so fourth.
Talk about hypocrisy.
if someone could come to me and say "i think xhip's sliders should be made from x, y and z, and here is a document and a bitmap to show you how to do this. i like the ones you already have a bit, maybe you could do i, j and k to allow for these other features." i would be probably messing up my pants with joy.
And of course, because you claim that, it must be true. Riiight.here i am, offering to put togeather something the se community probably has desired like madness for a long time
Funny how it hardly ever gets mentioned on the developers lists, though.
Because you started by heckling and insulting people over the stupidest, most inane set of reasons under the sun, and because you justify it on the ludicrous arrogance that you have an 'insight' into what defines a 'real artist' which seemingly has nothing to do with music, but whether or not they, wait for it, use your product.and you whyterabbyt, heckle me and insult me, for what reason?
"Only people who know their stuff use xhip. Anyone who doesnt use xhip doesnt know their stuff. I made xhip, your stuff is crap because its not like xhip, I know my stuff waaah waaah waaah"
