Anyone know of a program that will convert wav's into Ensoniq Mirage format?
Odd question I know, but I have one of those knocking around and I feel like lofi'ng some beats. I could just record them in, but it would be significantly quicker and easier to convert the files while in the pc and just save to a floppy.

Seeing as the Mirage is a mono sampler, can't you use MIDI Sample Dump? Takes an age, though. I have done .wav to Mirage on a floppy, but I used to do MIDI Sample Dump all the time. It's not too terribly long on the Mirage, considering that the memory limits keep the samples small.
You know, it's been years since I did a dump to a Mirage (so long ago, it was TurboSynth on a Mac Plus!). I might give it a go again!

I absolutely love mixing retro and modern technology. For example, using cutting edge sythesis and processing techniques using Csound and the like, then running into analog filters and nasty old samplers. Dont know why, but this really appeals to my aesthetic tastes!
Turbosynth is one Iv been meaning to try for ages. Never used it before, but I hear its capable of some interesting stuff.
But back to the original question - I think I'll just record the sounds in directly through the audio in. That way I can get maximum grunginess going through the convertors in and out.
