my vinyl is older then half the people here...and I was an lp abuser (most guitarists were), in fact if I knew you could get rich scratching records I would of trumped trump :hihi:
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Mine is too. I still have everything ever bought, going back to '63 when I had to beg dad to talk mom into allowing her 5 year old baby to listen to rock-and-roll. 8)

This does look interesting. I purchased an ART DeeJayPRE phono preamp last year, only to find that the rubber parts on my old Miracord had disentigrated.

The USB option seems like a good idea!

*edit*
While we're on the subject, I have 50 or so of my parents and grandparents old 78rpm records...Bing, Dorsey and the likes. Any newer turntables that still have a 78 speed? (I realise that it would probably destroy a stylus)

Not that I need to, really. But I would like to rip my parents wedding...they actually brought in a portable disk lathe (?) and recorded the procedings onto 2 78 rpm disks to provide a soundtrack for the 8mm film. :)
