When I installed FLS6, I looked at the 'Files" page setup and all my directories were listed just as they are in FLS5, which means the installer picked up the old config file (I'm guessing?), but when I tried to load a project in FL6, it couldn't find ANY of my plugs. So, I ended up copying my VST folder in FLS5 to the VST folder in FLS6 and now everything works fine.
Yes, works for me.
btw. are you using v6.03 or the Computer Music v6.00?

Yup, it does. For some odd reason it was the very first thing after installing the update that I noticed.

What version of DirectWave are you using? (It's displayed at top-right display box)

Apart from few older plugins (7band eq, old reverb I beleive and some others) all FL plugins are in native FL format, which is why you cannot use them outside FL.
Obviously a computer still can’t throw a television out of a hotel window or get drunk and be sick on the carpet, so there is little danger of them replacing drummers for some while yet. -- Nick Mason

Well I got FL 6 up and running last nite. I think it is quite nice. I like the FL reverb2 and the EQUO is pretty cool as well. The multiband comp also seemed to sound pretty good. I *did* notice a tendancy to crackle with my interface, no matter what the latency is set to. It happens mainly when the GUI is doing something, I initially thought it was clipping, but it doesnt seem to be the case. The menu also seems to want to move based on what plugin/effect I am messing with. I hope that is able to be disabled?

Anyway, I am pretty pleased with the update, you cant beat the price. Teh direct wave seemed pretty cool, but I dont think Im going to take the plunge just yet.

i did notice the crackling, too. with a slightly bigger latency the problem disappeared.

Set ASIO thread priority to "Highest" in - this is roughly equivalent to how FL5 processed it.

So when is the Mac version coming out? :box:

I think imageline should've made this the default, as it's gonna result in 8,000,000,000 support requests featuring "Waaaaah, it's more crackly than FL5", which initially confused me a bit as well.

Can't you use FLS as a VSTI and use its native stuff that way? Don't know if it's too big a resource hog to be workable like that.

Hi arguru,
If this question was aimed at play and myself, I can't speak for play, but I'm using FLS v6.03 > DW v1.0.
