a long time ago i was a security guard at the Art Institute of Chicago, one day right at opening, Billy and Dusty showed up (they had a show that night i found out later), they were both wearing these expensive-looking white jumpsuits, i remember they were both balding and had huge beards, and they had a super new wave broad with them in black leather and white cake make up, and she was quite a bit taller than them...i had read that they were patrons of the arts in Texas and they were really getting into the paintings (it was a modern american wing with shit like georgia o'keef, dekooning, jackson pollack) i didn't speak to them but i should have at least said "yo ZZ Top, alright!!!" but i was being too "professional", ahhh...sometimes that's bad although i would guess they wouldn't want to be hassled by some jaggoff, who knows...i'll never run into them again....
EDIT-looking back at The Moving Sidewalks photo again, and remembering the baldness, i think Billy is the second dude...am i right? anyone? hell, it could anyone of 'em....
