the adat thing was simply stating that at one time the industry was real comfortable with adats...true many people still use them, but the change over to computer based recording was a major development for the average joe home studio user. TBH the change over was also quite rapid, you have probably seen me say technology equals technology squared. With that in mind the next big change could be right around the corner and it could be FL that brings it...or anyone else, but we don't know...all I'm sure of is every change has been good so far...so bring it on... :D

My future feature list!! A modular bus plugin.. Song position automation.. Audio input/thru on the VST plugin version.. Pre/Post fader effect slots(needed big time).. I mean then it wouldnt be a toylike experience... Other than that it's usable..

Song position automation? why?

Post

I might of missed this somewhere in the thread, but before I pour anymore money into FL Studio upgrades... does FL Studio 6 have "scrollable" VST housing-windows finally? :/

Chase - I dont know if you've ever toggled through a song and said to your self man I wish I could arrange that ( I have).. youd be able to create some really cool trax that way..

Jack - I dont *think* so, but then again i dont have any VST's large enough to need so. What resolution r u at?

You could do anything you wanted with song position automation by copying and pasting events in the playlist? Do i hear you right?

Post

Chase for instance... im able to hook up a midi loop in FL and record a small piece of evolving midi loop into XT.. i can then take that midi and put it back into FL.. This would be easier (less glitchy) if FL just allow me to automate the song position in the 1st place...

Hey by the way can you control multiple points from 1 internal midi ctrlr now??
