Im looking for the best reverb vst plugin for vocals. and i also need some advice on reverb settings for good vocals. I dont have studio monitors so the settings i usually come up with dont sound good on other speakers.

My advice is to grab what you think is interesting here: http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php?mode=re ... t=1&rpp=15
and just see which one you like yourself.

depends on what you like personally ...
i`d go for the artsacoustic reverb.

since i got thatone i pretty much covered all aspects of uses in terms of reverb in highest quality at a fair cpu hit ...
but then, it`s just me ...
read the review, this will tell you more ...

1. Get rid of your headphones. I would invest in studio monitors (don't know if you have budget for that, but they don't have to be expensive). That way you would able to really hear what you're doing. Mess around with any of these free reverb plugins mentioned in the link above and you'll get great results.
2. don't overdo it. lead vocals really don't need a lot of reverb. choiry background vocals can take a lot on the other hand. For leads I never use more than 5 to 7 % of effect signal.
3. Reverbs also tend to make things sound somewhat 'cold'. You could eq out some of the high frequencies on the result (though generally it's best to put reverb last in your effects chain), to give some 'warmth' back to the vocal.
4.I think vocals sound best in presets such as 'small studio' 'warm chamber' 'small club' etc. experiment with such presets.
5. make a combination of a little bit of reverb and a little bit of delay.

Agreeing with bigtone here, the AA Reverb is just great for vocals. At a very fair CPU hit as well. I highly recommend checking the demo!

Another Arts Acoustic vote here.
The AA and Wizooverb are my favorites at the moment.
(btw - Where's that damn IK Classik Studio Verb?)

In the same place as Studiophonik and Amplitube 2 I suppose.JeffSanders wrote: (btw - Where's that damn IK Classik Studio Verb?)

I've been looking at the following plug-ins, since I'm wanting better reverb. Currently, I own Spin Audio's Roomverb M2 and Voxengo's Pristine Space Light. I also have Glace, Ambience and SIR loaded up.
My thoughts on others I demo'd.
Wave Arts MasterVerb--too grainy, nice gui, not worth the price
SIR--don't like the latency, since I like to track with it too.
Voxengo Pristine Space--you can get the latency to 64 samples, nice to use the impulses, worth the price (now $90), but not better than RoomVerb M2 in my opinion. Don't like the Voxengo interfaces.
Glace--latency if I recall correctly.
Ambience--very good for a freebie, digital sounding
Roomverb M2--all presets need to be modified with their wet/dry amount. Very good VST, but has a coldness/iciness to it--not warm enough. Very tweakable, although you get digital crackle when tweaking
Wizooverb--not worth the price, but nice sounding
Anwida--tried the dx and the newer one--something I didn't like--can't remember.
ArtsAcoustic--the sweetest reverb of them all. It just had a realness to it, good GUI, pretty good presets, pretty good tweakability. Better sounding than my Lexicon MPX 550.
I'd go with the AA or a hardware unit (Kurzweil or Lexicon PCM series)
