Extra wave pack and skin downloads

the manual mentions that extra wave packs and extra skins are available for download on the website.

i have downloaded everything i could find, but i did not come across skins or wave packs.

are these still available?

I found two skins (red and blue) at the patcharena.com. Apparently the skin pack was for v 1.x and no one has converted them to v2. I'd kill for a rhino-hide skin. (not a rhino, they're endangered.)

dunno about the wave packs. Makes sense that they're part of 2.03. Last night I made myself some skins too, its easy because theyre just BMP files. Theyre not professional quality but I hope Tick will put them in the user files area anyway.

Yes, all the skins to date are not compatible with v2.
And regarding wavepacks, this also dates back from v1 - the additional wavepacks are now included by default in v2. There are some new wavepacks for v2 in the works, though
