You might get your wish on that. Chris mentioned to me a while back that a configurable semi-modular modulator effect was something they had considered doing. That was before they announced they would be doing the Bi-phase clone, so maybe they've decided to go in a different direction. I'd guess it would have fallen somewhere in concept to the Scarbee VKFX.

More creative MultiFX would be nice to see. I really like what NI have done in GR2. The rack in conjunction with the modulators are great to work with. Too bad I don't like a lot of the stuff aimed at guitarists in it (the amp sims, cabs, and distortion effects just do nothing for me).

For a non-straightforward multi-effect, keep an eye on NDC.

Horses for courses, I suppose. All I can say is that I wouldn't even scrape your standard host reverb off the sole of my shoes. If you're into reverbs, there is a huge difference between quality and standard. And most native ones are standard at best.
You do a fine job of dismissing them without either specifying what's wrong, or listing what you would use instead.

No reverb plugin will give you anything close to what the lucky guy has, who has turned a big old church into a house/jam room/studio.

Something is in the works, but it's in its early stages, so it still might take Niall a while.

voted other - a more advanced version of supatrigga, (kvr labels it as an audio reorderer) that saves the patterns it creates, or allows you to save the patterns easily as midis, there's a work around to do this, but it's long.
