agreed...
I'll check with my son tomorrow, as he *might* have it (but I think he has the later version)
Kid's an anime fre-e-e-k (games and anime keep him in his room all the time... geesh)
I made the mistake of letting him watch mine while I was learning the language.

hey jack,
been playing with glitchgirlneo on a drum loop (accomp by a bass line). when i turn up the wet/dry mix the drums no longer line up with the bass track. what am i doing wrong? at 50% wet it has a delay type effect on every hit.

for all you other ppl, try all of jack's plugs, esp. pitchslap and glitchtronic...they'll kick your track ass into next week.

thx jack!

Nostalgic XOXOS response: Glitch effects spurred from mutilating precalculated delayed bits, artifact not prethought-of, too late for lamentation enjoy glitch watch your human!

Wicked City is wicked! a classic!
I wish I could find the original Akira '88 English dub on Divx or DVD, even VCD, but I don't think that's gonna happen. :( The new dub might be more accurately translated, but the voices suck.

akira rules!
and ninja scrolls is another one that is pretty cool too, some sensless gore bits for good measure :D

then for even bigger kicks stick it on a master channel ADD A LIMITER AFTER WARDS IN THE CHAIN!!!!

I put in the .TXT file to always add a compressor (rec. Blockfish) behind your glitch plugs... it'll pump up the nuances and really bring the effects to the forefront, I imagine this is what Vurt's doing with his limiter also.

ooh, cartoon tits...:hihi:

Hmm, to be honest, I am a bit put off by the GUI's. I guess some folks don't have the same affinity for erotic anime (I know, it's my loss). I realize it shouldn't make any difference, but I'm more apt to use a plug with a GUI I find aesthetically pleasing.

If you were so inclined, I'm sure you could find an aspiring designer around here who could lend a hand with a more conventional GUI so users could have an alternative to the originals.
