Hello all,

I am currently experienced some problems with the FLStudio 6 Demo. I am trying to get FL Studio to successfully send midiclock information out to my E-MU SP-12.

-I have the SP-12 set to Midi sync (external)
-In FL, I have the “enable midi remote control, enable midi out, and enable midi master sync” all activated.
-I am using an Edirol FA-101 interface, and I have the Midi Out of this device connected to Midi in on the SP-12.
-In FL under “output” I have the Edirol FA-101 selected as an output that sends master sync, with a sync type set to “midi clock”

When the sp-12 is in its “waiting for signal mode” and I press play in FL, all it does is turn the light out, sometimes only playing the first beat of a segment/sequence, like a kick drum. The light is then out, FL keeps playing, SP is stopped.

Does anyone know if FL has any start/stop/command glitches?

I am interesting in purchasing the software if I could get this problem worked out. I would make an attempt to ask on their own forum, but I cannot receive help with my questions thru them unless I buy the product as many of you know, lol. This same problem plagued me with the FL5 demo.

Something to keep in mind is that if I use Nuendo, and the parameters are set the same as I did within FL studios midi panels, then it works flawless just as I want, so that may rule out of the sp-12 as being the problem.

Thanks for any suggestions and help you all may offer. Peace.

Would any registered FL users be able to post my question for me on the FL board?

I am wondering if certain aspects of Midi implementation are purposely left disabled/non-working within the demo version?

The only limitation in the demo is taht you can't save as .flp and can'T export as .zip.

Dazzer would you mind posting my concerns on looptalk? I really want to buy the software, thus giving me access to the forums, but I can't spend my money on something that wont work for me.
