Soundfonts? Giga? Kontakt? Or do you have to recreate the instruments sample by sample?

Post

No, it doesn't. It's a very basic "old school" sampler. You'd be hard pressed recreating many multisampled instruments very well since there's only one velocity layer, though there are infinite (?) instrument layers.

Only one velocity layer? Seriously? That's absurd.

it's weird that sampler is even there
i'd rather use paxx (the 1st one) and it just has 1 velo layer

Just use SFZ for soundfonts. Giga and Kontakt are a different story. I use Traktion's sampler mainly to set up a simple electronic drum kit. Don't need the velocity layers for that.
My MusicCalc is temporary offline.

Not really. Many of the first samplers didn't have all this velocity layer jiggery-pokery.

The T sampler is simple, for sure. If I want a complex multisample I'll use one of the major formats. Halion Player is inexpensive. But for many jobs, the T sampler is fun and easy to use. I did up a tutorial once using it for beatslicing, and you could use it for other similar creative things.

It's just not good for what you want it to be good for. ;)
