Hi mates,

In my opinion, when two people have the same host and plugs, it is then possible for them to collab, even if one lives in Europe and the other in Australia. What do you think ? any experience ?
I just ask cause I wonder whether it is worth looking for someone here

I have been working with a guy in england for over a year now, (I live in Chicago) writing and putting out music at the link in my sig below. Even if we don't have the same synths, we just bounce down to waves or mp3's and load into our hosts. We use yousendit.com to send files across to each other and it works out fine. It is better if you have the same hosts. We both use cubase, so we are able to send the .cpr file and the audio folders over. It is definitely doable and quite fun and productive if you find the right person! Good luck!

Right, finding the right person must be the hardest task in the collab process

Nowadays, people seem to be more individual when it's about composing music, don't know why ...

not so difficult actually,just cruise the cafe find somone who you think you could work with soundwise and just ask.
most people here are open to collabs

not me, i make beats and scout for the right rappers online..if i think they are great, i can collab with them on AIM and yousendit....but, composing can be different..damn, it would be cool to collab with other like minded composers though.

I regularly collaborate with people from KvR and the results are almost always awesome (and if they are not, its usually my fault

) - just go to the Cafe and post a thread asking for collaboration - you'll be pleasantly surprised at how many people will respond!
