I have never heard it. If i'm in someones car i beg them to turn the radio off and put a CD on, and i don't watch any programmes on TV that play pop music. If it's a novelty tune, which i am sure it is, then i'll happily live the rest of my life without hearing it.

Maybe if you listened to it, you'd realise it isn't a novelty song, nor a working class anthem but a touching track about a boy and his dad, by an acoustic duo called Nizlopi who have been garnering praise from the highest levels just recently, after appearances at Glastonbury and Big Green Gathering this year.

Good point about overplay spoiling good music. Dare I say it - had it not been played to death there's a certain other song which came out this year which would have remained beautiful and not become pitiful, if you know what I mean

But Nizlopi to me just seem fresh and unpretentious, nice.

When I heard it on the web I thought it was fresh, sincere and lovely. Now it's no.1 & has to rub shoulders with a load of stale, insincere & ugly crap. So some people may be cynical about it, but it still warms my heart & good luck and all due success to them.

I quite like the Magic Numbers. But yeah, the rest in that list - in my not so humble opinion - are dogshit.

I just this very second heard the JCB song. It's quaint and trite. I dunno, my dad died when I was 15, it messed me up, so yeah, can't really get into the whole lovey doveyness of it.

Better than that f**king piece of shit Crazy Frog though.
