well... yesterday i started to test VST effects, to improve final mix quality on my tracks... i do karaoke, and to get that i'm using synthfont (to load GM and play with a good soundfont) + soundfonts (currently Crisis 2.6) + some VST plug-ins (that's the new part 4 me)and i need some help or better saying "tips" to apply that effects in a good way (best way)...
i have this VST effects pack http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.php (http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.php) and "PSP Nitro" too
i know that some effects will improve all instruments (so i must apply that ones in the MAIN bus) and maybe another effects (or the same but with a special preset) will improve only a single instrument inside the mix (for example some good flanger for a guitar)
in this screen, u'll see the "experiment" jejej with the main bus
an in this other... for example, a test with the DRUMS bus...
so i need that kind of tips, or opinions... effects and presets good for the final mix (MAIN bus), and for the guitars, bass, drums, strings, piano (alone)... consider that it will be for karaoke (no-voice) tracks, the instuments must sound very good in a bar, hotel, and places like that... and i'll sing live !
