i was on my way to the store when i heard what sounded like green day. i thought "wow, they're really rippin off someone this time". the more i listened, it seemed like it was a remake of a punk song, but i couldn't place it. i just knew the original was better and faster and that i used to listen to it. any one know the 80's song i heard em do (i think it was green day)

Can't help you out with this one...but...
My brother and I were arguing about Green Day earlier tonight...I say they've gone too pop...not the GD I grew up with...he doesn't get it, but he's only 15...he said the same thing about SOAD...we argued some more...I ate dinner.

i can see how blink 182 could be like green day. but blink 182 at least least modifies ancient drinking songs instead of doin note for note rip offs

i'm now at amazon using the "listen to all" feature. i find green day painful to listen to. they're like the manufactured boy band of punk. help
