Triplets and Dotted notes in FL5

How do i use them it's bloody ridiculous if you can't

You can set snap to 1/3 and 1/6 in the piano roll, and dotted notes are just short-hand for a note that is 1.5x the length, so you can adjust that manually.

ah right and below 16th notes? I think that when cubase is simpler than FL theres a problem

You use them the same way as you would in any other program.
By playing them in...or entering them with the mouse.

I make less-than-16th notes with the quantize function

Just set the snap to anything below 16th notes - it goes down to 64th notes, and you can even tripletize THOSE. And of course you can turn off snap altogether if you want below thathellhound wrote:ah right and below 16th notes? I think that when cubase is simpler than FL theres a problem

I'm used to cubase where you select the quantize from a menu (has everything from whole bars through to 1/128 triplets) and it then changes the grid to suit.
