raven was a longtime member, and very friendly and supportive. he sometimes wrote me pm´s when he had the feeling that i might like this or that software .. or informed me about updates of software i already have.

.. now he´s dead, or what?

just woke up, hard to swallow these news now.

It's a shock to hear this. It's feels even stranger to not know anything about the circumstances. . . Best wishes to his friends and family, and also to everyone here at KvR.

He always used to write me whenever he got a new sample set.

We both crawled our way up from SampleTank together.

He had/has some great sample sets. Real quality (wonder who he'll leave them to...?)

He could also read the dots, which is not so common these days.

As a muso or a person he was always very open, though very private about where he lived, any of his family, that stuff.

I gathered he lived somewhere in the West Midlands.
