The effects available in the ST2 folder, when either transfered to the ST2x (2.1.1) effects folder or when fetched from the original ST2 effects folder, are still unusable? in the new update? Or unloadable.

The newest STx1.1 has written on its back: 1.1(5K18)
??

Am I doing somnething wrong? they will not load when 'opened' in the dialogue.

For me, it's one of the numerous bugs of ST2.1.
I'm hopping this one will be fixed soon.

yes

there must be some difficult issue for the programmers that we are not made aware of, for proprietary reasons... Seem to take forever to make code changes that dont make the whole stack of cards come down...

or maybe the effects themselves had changes, and are different in the newest versions. making the effects listings incompatible from ST2.0\

But seems this thread has been here for a number of days without any response from the moderators

maybe, as I am left to guess this one forever...

There has been no information about changes in the effects section. And you can notice that when you load a combi made in ST2.0 (it's now possible with 2.1.1), the effects of the combi are loaded with no problem, so the translation (if any) from ST2.0 effect format to ST2.1 effect format is already coded.

That is exactly what is NOT working when I updated to 2.1.1

So I am doing something wrong then Ill have to figure it out myself.

Improvement of the stretch algorythm has been mentioned. Maybe other things, too?

This new version doesn't even work on my system, in DP 4.6.1 it crashes the whole prg when creating an instrument track and in the standalone mode i only hear spikes and high pitch sounds..mailed a few times with IK, the answer they had to reinstall the whole prg
thats what i did , but no improvements.....they gave me the advice to stick with 2.0.9 which i do now.....not very happy user....
