Tracktion has this feature aswell and it works great. I transfer sessions between Tracktion and PT all the time.
Great. I'm going to try Traktion one of these days. It wouldn't run on my machine at work, but I'll give it a go sometime. Seems like it could be the next big host.
Actually the whole point of Tracktion is to NOT be the next "big" host. Aka bloated with crap. Its not everything to everybody, but if it works for you, its simple and reliable.
Point taken. :D

Tracktion is much easier to learn, but has inferior MIDI. Cubase is a much more mature product and can do anything. Tracktion covers the basics and will get you recording quickly. Cubase has a much longer learning curve since it has many more options and features. The latest version of tracktion has a bug fix for MIDI sync problems.

Yours isn´t marketing for shure.

Tracktion is very easy to use and cuts out loads of red tape, espesially if you are a musician first and engineer second.

Hey use whatever you like.
Cubase does everything you can dream of, definately more "pro", more mature and it wins hands down in features (for example it can record midi sysex, Tracktion can not) but I still prefer Tracktion for it's simplicity and workflow.
