The ability to 'rip' the content from CD would be nice too as would Zip file support. For example if you download a zip file containing an archive of samples you could preview without extracting the full archive (searching within these archives would also be possible).
Both of these would be pretty slick.

I also agree about wave editing and preview. I've got plent for this.

I checked out sample catalogue, not a bad application. Shame it hasn't been updated for almost a year though and the audio playback is very limited. Are their any others? I am keen to put togther something really good...

Hello Megazoid, are there any news about your application. Or have you given up? I hope not :)

Yes I'm really interested a lot too, as an AudioFinder user that has switched to PC from the Mac and that is really missing AudioFinder....

Hi Guys,

I was a little suprised to see this thread pop up again.

You will be pleased to know that i am still working on this, except it has taken a whole new direction.

At first i intended to make a simple "explorer" but i have since decided to make an index based search applicatino which will be capable of handling massive sample collections with ease.

The application will be similar to "Copernic" but for studio use (samples, patches, banks, etc).

I am still open for ideas on this one!
