Got back from my Xmas holiday yesterday.. good to hear that the CD has been pressed and is due for shipping soon..

Hi.

Sorry if this has been covered already in this thread, but I haven't been participating in the conversation and I don't have the time to read 243 pages of discussion, so I hope and would appreciate if someone could take a moment to answer my question here.

Anyway, I preordered the Chrysalid (great name for the compilation btw., kudos to whoever came up with it - the art looks really nice too) CD quite some time ago, and haven't received any information about when the CDs will be ready and shipping. For some reason I thought it would have been by now, or that someone would have sent out a group email to everyone who preordered with some info on when to expect the CDs, how much money has been raised, how much will go to charity etc.

It would be cool if someone could step up and fill in the blanks here for me.

sure MF...no problem, I'm watching the mailbox now, but probably a bit early. It seems that the cds have been shipped to CD baby for sales and distribution. I guess we are still waiting for them to make a page for the cd, but that shouldn't have anything to do with pre-orders...so I too am chomping at the bit, but I feel it could be any day it arrives. But then with dog sleds and all it might take a little longer to get to you..

Hi Muff -- At this point the CDs have been pressed and shipped and are at CDBaby. CDBaby are now digitisng the artwork and preparing the sales blurb for their website. The CD will then be available -- this could even happen today apparently, but most definitely in the next couple of days.

For those like you who preordered, we will either:
Order the CD (via the goodly Freeztar Dude) on your behalf from CDBaby immediately, or will have solidified an agreement with CDBAby wherein they will automatically begin shipments to all preorderers shortly.

It might be a good idea to send an e-mail out to all the people who pre-ordered giving an update of where the CD is and how much money has been raised.

Looks like it will be the godly Kovacs dude instead. And he's getting to it *today*.

As for sending out e-mails...perhaps! If I have people's e-mail on file I'll use that when I register their CDBaby order so they get the info directly from CDBaby.

There are just a few I don't have so it shouldn't be a problem.

kovacs... Didn't you get an e-mail address when each person made a paypal order?

well I guess most people will get the info from here anyway...

Not everyone ordered via paypal, simply put. It's not an issue - I have most of the addies.
