How's the latest Rhino beta coming along?

It would be great if you could let us save patches conventionally. There have been several instances where I've had what I considered a useful patch and lost it all when shutting down Orion Platinum.

From a business standpoint I'd think people would be more invested into a purchase if they had timbres in songs that Rhino produced.

Hey Bruce,

Just wondering, why would they purchase at all if they can do everything with the demo ? :-) You don't want me to change the demo system, to get back to the intermittent noise thing, do you ?

I guess what I really need is to get the final release out as soon as possible... we're almost there...

Take care,

Some people are going to want the synth early, even if we pay for it and get it when it is not quite ready. Others will fuss if it comes out to early and complain about paying for the right to beta test. Hmmm. Maybe you could consider something like what Rene did with z3ta+. Those who wanted it could buy early (at a discount :D ), know it is beta, but have full functionality and a string of updates.

All I need to be happy is one more VSTi.

Synths that save but can't render sound are fairly useless. As for noise bursts, after 20 seconds or so would be good. If given a choice between noise bursts and saving my work I'd take saving my work, especially if I decided to purchase.

But Robert's idea is good too.

I'm with Rabid and x_bruce on this one. Promotional discount for purchases while Rhino's still in beta with full functionality, as per RGC's Zeta would be a very good thing indeed. :D

It'd probably get you more feedback from the users too.....
