Well I just tested FX Jockey's demo in EnergyXT and VSTHost, the nag screen went away fine. It also works in FL Studio and Audiomulch, apparently. I guess Sonar's having a quibble with the GUI layers? There are five of them if I recall correctly... don't know why this is giving Sonar a piss though. You could try running it through VSTHost or EnergyXT (VSTHost is a free download, EXT works fine in demo mode for testing) just to try FX Jockey out. The full version has no nag-screen to bother Sonar however.zimba wrote:Im using Sonar 4.0.4. Just tried it again and same result. The light in the end nag button goes off, but screen stays.JackDark wrote: This is the first I've heard of this error. What host are you using?
Ive done a reinstall etc but will try redownloading and start from scratch.

For the record, tested FX Jockey in really old version of Fruity Loops... nag screen went away just fine. Don't understand what's up with Sonar...

Okay, I felt the original FX Jockey demo MP3s just didn't do this plug justice, so I made two new ones:
Drumloop run through FX Jockey presets ONLY.
Me tweaking (read: mutilating) a drumloop in realtime using FX Jockey ONLY.
I also fixed typos in the user manual (that's what happens when you write a user manual at 4:00AM).
This post also serves as a half-ass bump, due to the fact that IMHO this is a very -unique- plug and everyone deserves a chance to play with it.

Yeah, that a much cooler demo. After another run with FXJ I've found that it's also awesome for ambience and evolving textures...lovely drones galore!
It's still cool for funky fresh beats too.

LiquidClear - I should try running something through it besides drums, good idea.
I'm always testing my VSTs out on stock drum loops for some reason...
