so the answer is you don't have any music...or are you afraid I will judge you...I can assure you and stake the honor I take pride in that I would not. However to ask me to prove that I listen to rap as a reason to want to hear your music is quite lame. I do not have any favorites, nor do I own any rap cds...however I have listened to many rap songs here and I can learn from any genre, I take pleasure in seeing how other members here express themselves...however I feel no need to qualify that for you...please read my sig, I believe it with all my heart...if you wish to share, then share...if you don't want to share don't...but don't put your reluctance on me...;)

At least you were partly honest, even though it took
you quite a long while. I already figured you did not
listen to rap, it was rather obvious.

When I post again all are welcome to listen. Even you

first I was completely honest, I started by saying rap wasn't my genre of choice to play..I followed it up with complete honesty...you on the otherhand have judged me by my race, by my color and by my music choices...which again makes you a bigot and now a racist (of course the comment about me living in the US gave me the clues that I could push your buttons)...racism is a two way street...those who don't regonize that are apt to get run down by their own beliefs.

Hmm judged you by color lol? Kinda hard as I still
don't know your heritage. I know you by character
and character alone. Second I would appreciated if you
could keep these things in the thread where it first
originated. Or are we to do battle in each thread we
meet?

That would surely be the downfall of you.

What the hell is wrong with you? Haven't you learned your lesson with this guy? Have you got that much time on your hands? As if the endless thread regarding the Cubase Warez wasn't enough, now we learn that despite everyone else's passionate devotion to making music (leaving too few hours in the day), Rap guy spends "too much" time making music. Clearly he's all talk (ironic for a Rap guy), puff and blow.

I admit that it was amusing at first watching you match wits with the witless, but now it's just downright disturbing. At this point you are just lending credence to his ramblings.

And Rap guy, if you're still reading this, 1) Sugar Hill Gang 2) GrandMaster Flash and the Furious Five and 3) Run DMC. I like to kick it old skool, yo, yo, yo. Now put up (a track) or shut up.

Student pricing isn't designed to make it affordable for students, its to encourage its use in educational institutions. The fact that you see it as a cheap way to get a license is probably exactly why they put the price up.

Anyway, as to the original question - it varies depending on a number of factors. Right now I am severely demotivated [since pushing out the last album in March actually]. I am probably spending only a couple of hours a week on anything music-related unless we have a gig coming up when I will try to get in an hour or so's practice every day. When I was trying to get the album finished I was spending every spare moment on it, between 4 and 8 hours a day [outside work].
I just spent the last couple of days on a new SE synth so may be playing aroudn with that might get me motivated once more. Sik has also given me a bunch of cool new ideas to play aroudn with which may also help. We'll see, I suppose.

man, you guys are rough! cut the guy a break, all he did was answer a thread,i certainly didn't detect any racism or bigotry...if he doesn't want to post music it won't hurt anybody (i know nothing about other threads mind you ) everyone has a different approach... i got jumped in the past and it took me a bit to get used to the philosophy behind kvr and some of its' inhabitants...

 and stuff
KVR: come for the music, stay for the polemics and grammar lessons...
