I've got a project with 3 frozen tracks - with 2 of those the volume is remarkably lower if the playing starts at (or before) the beginning of the frozen part, but if you start playing within the frozen part the volume is OK.
I haven't been able to reproduce it in a new project file though

What happens if you unfreeae the three tracks and freeze them again?

So they are frozen in a v1.4.0 beta?

same thing..

yep - but the same thing also happens with older versions (1.3.5, 1.3.0, some older beta)

[EDIT]
Got it - it happens if there's a groove active on the frozen track :o still can't reproduce it in a new project, but I'll give it a try later on

Wow, I'm always freezin stuff but never had that happen, then again I hardly ever use grooves.

i have similar issues here with version 1.3.6:

1. i'm running two samplers in the project and the track (connected to sampler2) plays about 10db lower when freezed!? i really don't know, why this happens. freezing tracks connected to sampler1 don't have this problem.

2. solo-playback a (frozen) track and then disable solo -> now sometimes it plays the whole song (contains also other frozen tracks) louder for some seconds!?

really weird things ... i can't give exact steps to reproduce this, but it really happens while working with frozen tracks.

FR: frozen tracks should have 'Unfreeze' in their context-menu (instead of 'Freeze')! and envelope-tracks shouldn't have 'Freeze' in their context-menu!

this track has one insert (http://www.voxengo.com/product/msed)

first you hear all things playing ok -> then i've solo'd the ride-channel -> stop -> unsolo'd-> play -> now it plays the kickdrum-track (frozen with http://www.voxengo.com/product/msed as insert) louder till the end of the right marker -> next loop is ok again ...

also without inserts, similar things happen :(

nobody else with these problem (freezing sampler-outputs)?

This sound like the solo bug I fixed. Its louder because the frozen wav is played double.

cheers
