I agree, it saves a lot of time when testing out VST plugs. Instead of having to download all of them to my DAW I can test them in my Surf PC.RAYA wrote: VST Host for Winamp (Christian Budde)

PLParEQ3 for sure, CLAS too. Also wideboy if it came out this year, cant remember. It might have been last year. I like to use Spectralive, CLAS and Wideboy together. Just a touch of each can add alot.
I believe today is the last day you can email for a free copy of PLParEQ3.
Just remembered another one but cant remember if it was this year. The Brackenbury amp sim from Florida Music. I like to use it chained with the NI B4 tube effect and some of the analog flux plugs for the best sounding ITB guitar Ive gotten so far. Still not the real thing, but getting close.

I tested the CLAS & PLParEQ3 yesterday for the first time. And I liked both, with some exceptions.
Like the Eq dialogue box that tells me that is only available in the pro version, that popped up almost everytime I tried to select something. The sound of it is very good, though. And the GUI looks cool.
CLAS sounded excellent in the high areas, but almost nothing interested happened in the lows? The highs sounded very smooth in my ears, even though I boosted it to the max.

I'm always crap with these end of year polls, but I absolutely love FeedBug. It's got a gorgeous sound.

I don't know if its the best, but Posihfopit has been my best find. I'm still learning to use PLParEQ3, but am impressed so far. GlaceVerb got quite a bit of use here too until I acquire Arts Acoustic Reverb, but I still like it. I like the BetaBugs stuff quite a bit also. Also, the kjaerhus Classic Auto-Filter and the free Nomad Phaser and Sweep.
