Hello,
Well i'm glad i waited to get hold of a decent guitar vsti.
I've just added a guitar to my latest track from Manyguitar, and it sounds amazingly realistic, you'd never guess that it was played in from my Edirol PCR 50!
Super quality as well!
I'm impressed Manytone, and i've not even scratched the surface yet with it.
Could anyone direct me to the soundsets that are available for Mantguitar, from the other pro guitarists?
Thanks.

First of all, I must agree with you. Manyguitar is so damn real sounding that my best friend (who has been playing guitar for well over 30 years) could not tell it was a keyboard with his eyes closed. That's how good manyguitar is and, like you, I am so darn glad I bought it - I finally have my own session guitarists whenever I need em and they never need a smoke break or complain about money.
Although there are no other manyguitar soundsets, Manystation is INCREDIBLE and worth every penny. Also, Wusikstation (www.wusik.com) is another fantastic synth that Manystation shares its pedigree with. TSW (the second wave) and it's associated soundsets are worth every penny, as are Vox'd and The acoustic series from Wusik. Soundcell (2) is good for ambient pads as well. There's a ton of stuff for wusik and manystation and all of it adds a huge PUNCH to your sonic arsenal. I HIGHLY recommend it. By the way, if you are in the USA, Computer Music JUST CAME OUT with the Wusikstation 1.0 for FREE - included with the magazine - that's the FULL VERSION - plus a ton of samples along with it. Can't beat that!!!

Hi Guys
Wow back at ya!
Thanks for the great words about ManyGuitar.
There is actually an addon set of Samples available already
Ultimate Bass Kit is $29.99 and is a highly rated Bass sample Pack.
The Soundsets will load into ManyGuitar right off the bat and soon we will have specific presets for it. All UBK users will receive these if they own ManyGuitar as well.
Again.... Big thanks for the words ... It really means a lot to hear these on New Years eve.
Happy New Year!

Sorry! Forgot about UBK - again, so fantastic I really will never require to purchase a bass guitar soundset again. It has actually saved me money in the long run.

I second that! Some distorted lead guitar sample sets would be great. Something along the lines of Satriani, MacAlpine, Vinnie Moore, Vai, Malmsteen, Holdsworth, etc.Timerider wrote:And can we have some Satriani Ibanez radical stinging lead soundsets ????????![]()

If I am not mistaken, there are FANTASTIC lead guitar presets and Manyguitar is quite literally a software amp - so you can distort away. I believe I remember hearing some presets that sounded like Satriani (Surfing with the Alien is awesome) leadwork - so play with it and possibly you already have what you need. Remember, there are many many ways to make presets with Manyguitar, as I am finding out. It's not just choose the preset and run - there are amp presets, guitar and bass modelled presets, strumming / picking presets, etc. Play with the interface, as I am finding new ways to alter the guitar sounds all the time.

Hi Guys
Yes there are definately some Satriani style leads there already.
As for the Harmonics ... There is a nice set of Telecaster Harmonics also included.
So i think some of what you want is already there.
And of course ..... we will bring you more styles and sounds in the future. Even though ManyGuitar has the amp sim in it, we still plan to do some Marshall and Mesa etc. guitar and amp Sampling.
I think we gave you guys one Hell of alot of Samples and Goods for the Dollar though! I am sure all of you are finding this out

EXCELLENT!
Me being a synth and keyboard player, and Classical/ Flamenco guitarist,i've had no immediate use and knowledge of electric guitar, and the pre requisites of it at the amp stage, but belive me,it will fall into place!
This thing compels it!
Thanks for the feedback yet again!
