As i can remember there is one program that can do that but sometimes it didnt translate some patches right. You should try it. I think it's Chicken Sys Translator.

Extreme Sample converter should also do the trick (costs about 40$) or Awave...(costs about 129)

Our product, Translator, deals with more varied parameters converting from Kontakt than other programs, i can attest to that - additionaly, Translator has many features that can enhance the conversion. Translator also supports many form input formats than other programs as well.

Hey chickeneps, when are you going to fix the Emu X convertor that doesn't work?

It's not ours, it's Emu's.
Although I can't speak for them, I did try a couple things on it the other week, and it was fine.

So your telling me you didn't write the convertor app for Emu? Because I heard it was your company that they paid to do it...only they didn't get what they paid for.
I spent days trying to get my akai cd's converted to Emu format. I gave up in the end due to crashes, not just with the coverter software but also with the Emu X as a whole.
If I got it wrongthen I apologise...so you're saying the Emu X convertor that comes with the Emu X has nothing to so with your company?

It's Emu's product so it's really their responsibility to account for it's performance.
Chicken Systems didn't write the whole app, we contributed parts of it. That was two years ago, and we haven't touched the code since. But Emu has. I can say everything we contributed was solid.
From what I see as an outsider, all the issues the convertor has (at least what I see reported) attributes to the browser and the way it communicates with the the main dialog.
It does work quite well - no crashes - on our systems here, but I don't use it that much except for study.
IMHO, in hindsight, they really should have not done a seperate app and done all the loading/importing the same way they do Emu EOS things - in the browser inside the app. It would be a a lot simpler approach, and from what I do know from that time, it would rectify many of the conversion problems that I see publicly reported.

Well I would get in touch with Emu, they seem pretty unhappy with the convertor. Loads of people have complained about it crashing 7 times out of 10. For me I have to say it never really worked. I had to convert all my Akai cd's to Soundfonts, then from Soundfonts to Emu X.
Emu are blaming you on the Unofficial Emu forums, so I would get on there and stick up for yourself if I were you. They said they have tried to get you to update but have not heard back from you or something to that effect.
