actually that was kind of neat.. sure hes just pushing buttons that are cycling through predefined patterns/loops.. and tbh it sounded like a but of scattered noise, but hes got a well planned work environment and it showed me something I (a non-reaktor user) didnt know reaktor was capable of doing..

Well, I just felt that the riffs he was tossing off didn't seem to have much intent behind them. They just seemed sort of like random noodling without any real form behind them. It just sounded kind of bare and unfinished. I don't know. Perhaps I should give him the benefit of the doubt since he's just banging stuff out for demo purposes. I really haven't heard any of his CDs so I don't have anything to compare it to.

It just seems sort of odd that he has all these real time tools, to play with, yet he doesn't really seem to have a good handle on improvisation IMO.

Anyway, despite my personal feelings, if the video inspires some of you guys that's cool. Inspiration is hard enough to come by these days so the more the better.

Honestly, This guy has no shame. Pushing a bunch of faders up and down while stock N.I. patches play @ 100,000bpm and video taping himself doing it...What the f**k ever!

oh ya...Hi Quincy

You may wanna check out ableton Live if you havent already. You can do stuff similiar to this using legato mode ad clip envelopes.

But please, chop up some old 60's lounge or folk, or anything besides the played out sounds hes using.

I watched the video...I made this kind of sounds when i had no idea yet how to work with a synth....i should have been famous at once then.....if my equipment should make this kind of noises i would let it fixed at once....
