I use MiniHost with a Yamaha keyboard connected via its bultin USB midi interface. It works great, except then the keyboard is offline. MiniHost doesn't start properly and I can't load a vst. Is there something to do to prevent that ?

Isn't that a good reminder the keyboard's off..?
Anyway, I use MIDI Yoke and MIDI OX. If I've forgotten to turn my keyboard on, all I need do is restart MIDI OX and everything is fine - as all my applications are reading from MIDI Yoke rather than the USB port.
