Uh. Never really knew him, but quite some of his posts were helpful and partially enlightening.
May you find whatever you expected to find, Raven.

Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Oh no. This is so sad. Shocking. Raven is one of the first people I met on KVR. Great guy. He used to PM me any time there was something in the UK about Pink Floyd, a band we both like. He converted a PAL video for me and sent it overseas. A really exceptionally great person. I genuinely believe that he was the ideal contributor to KVR. Someone we could all be more like. Helpful, generous, kind, considerate, humorous, resourceful... A great example of how to be in life. He left that behind for anyone to learn from who has read his posts. I am sure he has touched many people on KVR and in other parts of his life. He will be missed.
I do have his address if it is still active and I will send something. If it is okay with you guys I will include a printed copy of this thread. Maybe his family doesn't even know about his time spent in this virtual music world.
We love you Raven. Thank you.

There comes a time when each of us must shuffle off this mortal coil.
As sad and cruel as it sometimes seems it is part of life's deal.
All we can truly hope for is that Raven's transition into the greatest unknown was as painless and peaceful as possibly.
I also hope his glimmer of an existence meant something truly special to someone out there at one time or other through out his life.
Really we are nothing but a camera flash of existence in the concept of universal space and time.
For that spark too have meant anything to anybody on any level is a really a rather beautiful achievement.
They say the flames that burn brightest die fast.
My...... but what a beautiful light they throw.
To Raven , well I didn't know you buddy but your loss of life still moves me.
I'm sure the stars will look a little brighter tonight for all of us KVR-ites.
Maybe we'll meet one day in that great cosmic expanse.
Peace , Love and best wishes to all who new him as a friend , brother , son , lover , confidante , husband , father and net buddy.
I have sadly experienced to much loss of others in this life for my measly 38 years of existence.
I have however been blessed to have basked for even a brief moment in the most beautiful of life's bright lights.
There is always an upside and exchange in the bargain and deal of life.
I'm sure there is a peaceful and beautiful place that awaits you on the other side.
See you in soup.
Peace Out
Much love all

This thread by Raven is a bit cheeky. He had a good sense of humour.

And it's true, I have to fight 'em off.
