I actually decided to kick Glitch Jockey to the max and really see what I could do with it. So, I made an actual song using it to create all the glitch effects, and Cool Edit Pro 2 to timestrech/sequence things.

The song's called The Coldest Flame.

It's a good example of what you can do with Glitch Jockey.

So far I very impressed with Glitch Jockey. Although I've barely grasped the setup and controls yet some cool sounds have been made. Look forward to digging in a bit deeper soon....musically I've been very far away from glitch lately...

PS. Nice Compact GUI!

coldest flame is great

not had much playtime yet as my assignemnts are still eating my time,but ive finished the most important two so i get some free time over the next few days

yeah! after hearing The Coldest Flame, I had to go for the lot

edit: cant get Glitch Jockey Demo to appear in Live 4.1.4.
Ive pasted the dll and dat file in my vst plugin folder.

Seems to work ok with energyxt so theres a workaround but anybody else having this problem?

LiquidClear - I agree with the GUI... I'm actually proud of how "useful" it turned out without being "over the edge" like I'm fond of doing... I also have been musically away from glitch and IDM lately, but for a pet project coming up (if all goes well) I needed good glitches, and I'm glad other folks do too.

McKenic - You're welcome man, may it bring you glitch nirvana.

Vurt - I'm glad you've got your priorities straight. I need to do the same.

Sickle - Really? I thought you'd be dissapointed at the lack of Nazi/Hentai material.

Jaybez - I'm sorry to hear it's not working in Live... I too use energyXT; also VSTHost, and FL Studio... all of my VSTs work fine in those hosts. Only other hosts I know that ever had any problems with one of my VSTs was Sonar. I am at a loss as to why it's not working, but from what I suss the VST is up to 2.0 standards...

Full version of Glitch Jockey works fine in Live, seems its only the demo that has the problem.

Phew, that's great! I guess the "periodic silence" module in the demo is causing conflicts in Live somehow... weird.

If it's a third party module, drop it and just use a well timed oscillator on a gate at the final output.
