SR202 1.01d problem.....

I was playing with this tonight and I kept losing CC control of SR202.

(Cubase SX, midi channel 1, kenton control freak SE, windows xp)

It happened using the basic 808 kit.

Was twiddling happily then lowered the octave on my roland pc180 and carried on playing...boom, gone. Twiddled the sliders but no knob response.

It happened yesterday as well at first launch - no control at all right from the start.

Any ideas ?

Can't replicate this over here in other sequencers and I'm thinking that it might be an SX issue. I'll have to look into it more deeply for you.

Just out of curiousity have you got a good Freak profile for SR202 that you've made yourself or are you using the one I put up on the old website ages ago?

I'm using a homemade profile (using the listed CCs) - actually sent it to Kenton recently and it's now on the site.

Could be a bit embarassing if it's "faulty"

We have a Kenton Control Freak SE here to test with. Send a copy of the profile over (as a MIDI file) and we'll check it out.

In the meantime, you may find this useful:

This simple profile will allow the control of the first 16 parameters of any Muon plugin.

The profiles seem to be fine in Cubase 5, but not in SX. I'm not sure what the problem is right now, but I'm looking into it.
