(gonna cross-post this to Off-Topic too...)
I need a few recordings in WAV files of some words for an app that we need to crank out as an alpha 'proof of concept' version this afternoon.
I can record them myself at home tonight, but it would be an ENORMOUS help to be able to get them today somehow.
If ANYONE is up to helping, you'll have my un-dying love forever, and i'll give you some gmail invites too
Here's a list of the words I need - one word per WAV file. Clear, smooth dictation would be nice (as would a British accent) in a serious tone, but not too over-the-top, it will be for a security application. A woman's voice or a man's voice will both do just fine. If you want to get fancy with EQ to make it full and rich that's cool, mostly we just need a clear recording though.
"Invalid Card Format"
"Inactive Card"
"Active Card - Please verify fingerprint"
"Strong Verification - Access Granted"
"Weak Verification - Verify Alternate Fingerprint"
"Verification Failed - Access Denied"
"Operation Error - Please try again"
"Verifying Fingerprint - please wait"
you guys are the freakin' best.
We will probably go with a professional voice person when/if we do a final version of the app, or the client may not want voice notifications.
In any case if we ship the app (it's custom for one client only) with your voice included I will obtain your permission first, or change the samples. If I get your permission and keep your samples, you'll get a credit in the manual (which will be seen by one government organization here in Canada).
thanks again
edit: changed the messages slightly, thanks
