Any instrument.
I'd have to say either Little Sister by QOTSA, or Schism by Tool - both on guitar.

Now little sister ain't bad but anything form "Blues frome the red sun" or "Sky valley" (both from KYUSS, you know them right) is perfect for some guitar+headbanging for me

Have to confess I don't know KYUSS. I got into QOTSA with Rated-R first. Great album, and I think Lost Art is still one of my all time favourite tracks. Then Songs For The Deaf came out, and it was great too. Then Lullabies came out, and that was great too!!
Feel Good Hit Of The Summer is a pretty good track to play too.

QOTSA is kind of KYUSS sequel. Josh (gts+vocals in QOTSA was playing guitar in KYUSS) and there must be a few other common memebers in their early days. The Rated-R sound is very close to KYUSS so if you like QOTSA you should definitely check these two albums I mentioned earlier (killer stuff IMO)Chibs' Bath Toy wrote:Have to confess I don't know KYUSS. KYUSS and QOTSA are ace.
Personally I don't play a lot of other's material. But when I do it is normally things people wouldn't expect me too like, (All on guitar)
Sleeping Satellite - Tasmin Archer
The Chauffeur - Duran Duran
Back of my hand - Gemma Hayes
Seek and Destroy - Metallica
Creep - Stone Temple Pilots
Black (or State of love and trust)- Pearl Jam
Listen - Stiff Little Fingers
Street Spirit - Radiohead
plus a few Mansun tracks.
Bass wise
Normally Schism by Tool
Keyboard wise which I'm totally useless on so I can normally play Coldplay songs.

guitar:
"my sweet lord", "brown sugar", "free bird", "tainted love"
"run run run", "there she goes again", and "rock and roll" by the VU
"holly holy" by Neil Diamond
"astronomy domine" and "corparal clegg" by the pink floyd
bass: "bad baby" by PiL and "black dog" by zeplin,
trying to learn more "songs" on the guitar in general....i've always just jammed and made up my own crap...

Sesame Street. I load my kerplunk tower with musical marbles and pull the straws out in 4/4 beat.
