The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Good to hear, because I feel the same way... :D

I am actually shocked at the effort that came forth and made this bird grow wings!

Every benevolent person here at KvR is a superstar in my books!!!

Mine still bore the rapidly fading aural imprint of the postal delivery robolobster (violet-chromey colored, with the faint scent of printer's ink) when I fetched the mail in. As the USPS vee-hickle rounded the corner, the first CD went into the deck. Now playing: Crestfallen by Dan Tootill.

[edit] And now Kiptopeake the kitten is looking very intently at the speakers as vurt's contribution plays.

I'm on a slice of moog now....really so far I'm loving this...nice layout so far...to the rain into never agin gave me that N.O. funeral feeling...starting out somber...then step it up...the rest so far are great, they really help to hold a mood...so far a very relaxing comforting feel (on a call of the univers now)...back to listening...:D

Got mine today, listened to about 6 tracks so far. This is a really neat compilation. Great effort. Kudos to everyone involved. This is great stuff. One of the most diverse compilations you're likely to find anywhere.

I'm still at work.
**biting my fingernails**
Wonder if mine arrived today?
**shifty eyes looking around**
Maybe I could duck out a little early.
**reaching for my PC's power button**
Gotta run!

Glad you're like the flow of it. UTM did an excellent job in negotiating the tricky track sequence, balancing mood, flow from song to song, and style while trying to fit as many songs on the compilation as possible.

Along the way some really tough choices were made and some of the people who had worked the hardest to make this a reality ended up sacrificing not only their time but also their own songs in order to give as many other people a slot on the CDS as possible. Others graciously delivered shortened versions of their songs (or allowed their songs to be editted in mastering) to make room for other tracks.

In all, I'd say a lot of people did some very hard work and made some very selfless sacrifices in order to make this the best product we could. I'd like to thank everyone involved and ask that everyone who's ordered one help get the word out about.

CAN'T WAIT TO GET MINE!!!!!!!!!!!

one tiny little criticism, it doesn't mention the lyrics being available online as well "shrug"...not a big deal though.
