that actually sounds like a really good idea, I'd be happy to collab with you on it ;)

SM isn't exactly great in the whole performance area yet either, but I do like the interface and the interface abilities, though I'm just getting acquainted with them.

Hmm, now you've got me thinking again... :P

Here's a new one to test/request features/find bugs:
It triggers a CC envelope from a note on. You can adjust the hold, attack, hold, decay, sustain, and release as well as overall time and amplitude (w/ offset). Each parameter has a pitch and velocity mod (those dots).
I'm going to add an option to trigger on an audio threshold too.
Lots of fun to send to a filter, gain, send, etc

Currently it sends the midi-in and audio-in through. Should I get rid of that?

Oh yeah and clicking on the labels will reset the default values. Please give suggestions for those.

Looks good :)

I'd say so, that way the env can be routed directly without needing filtering, right?

how about them simply resetting to the values of the current patch?

there was someone who wanted a plug for playing a chord with each note going to a differnt synth each time. I think the new note table and the midi switcher could help do that. I'll find the way soon if no one else does.
They should definately checkout PolyChannel

Here is an example project using RGC TriangleII as a polyphonic CPU shredder :hihi:

the nF_Note_Queue plugin is also very similar to the NoteCycler and NoteTable plugins. great minds ... Thanks for the new stuff. I got a huge project built that's just playing itself :D

That's the goal :hihi: spend all my time making tools, then a min. making an album. :hihi:

I posted details about ChordME, a midi chord generator Here if anybody is interested. It takes incoming midi notes and converts them to chords which can be assigned to different notes. Hope you find it useful.

This little beauty will allow you to control 6 CC's at a time with your mouse.
There are 4 colored dots that each represent an assignable CC. There is a blinking control dot. As the control dot gets closer to a colored dot, that colored dot's CC will get higher. You may move the control dot or the colored dots.
There is also a 2D LFO that will fly around the control dot. The LFO has various controls like sample and hold, smoothing and x/y offset. BE CAREFUL TO USE S&H AND/OR SMOOTHING WHEN USING NOISE AS AN LFO SHAPE. (Or your CPU will suffer)

In the simplest case, you can just use it as an x/y pad with the control dot as the only CC's you use.

(btw: the bottom on/off button by the S+H is for quantizing the S+H rate, the first turns it off/on. The INV button next to Amp will make the LFO bounce off the wall when it gets to far, when it is off it will stick to the wall.)

is there any midi plug-in that transforms released velocity or aftertouch into something else?

Post

maki, this could be done with one of nicfits midi munger plugs, I haven't midi munger in a while so I dont' remember how the rules are laid out, but transforming any kind of midi message into another is usually pretty straightforward.

http://www.dehaupt.com/SynthEdit/DH_MIDIMungerHowTo.htm

*,Noteoff,*,*,*,*,y,*,Cntr,1,1,*,* <-- noteoff velocity to CC1

*,Noteoff,*,*,*,*,y,*,Cntr,1,1,*,*,> <-- noteoff pitch to CC1

*,KeyAft,*,*,*,*,y,*,Cntr,1,1,*,* <-- aftertouch pressure to CC1

Both let the other messages through. Replace y with n to block them out. (be warned that some hosts will use Noteon,*,*,0,0 as a note off instead.

I didn't check my work; it's off the top of my head.

No feedback on the last 3 plugs... I guess this stuff is getting boring :(

I noticed a problem with the modulations on the envelope trigger not being prominent enough. I'll fix that next.

I find your plugins very interesting but I don't know much beyond the really basic basics of MIDI so I find it difficult to look at a description of what plugin X does and translate that into "musicthink."

If you have the time/energy, some usage examples (step-by-step & screenshot type stuff) would be really cool.

There great plugins Soma. For me its the amount of them that gets overwhelming. I only get time to try some of them.
But i,m sure I,m not the only one who apreciates the time you put into them..

Damn this is a fine comunity we got here folks..

tbh, i downloaded all the new stuff you made but since i started at a new job i never had time checking them out this week. the bright side of having no time weekdays is that i'm looking forward to make music on the weekend. ;)
