Running Audio Mulch and Ableton Live together

Im wondering if there is a way I can kind of "rewire" these 2 hosts using something like MIDIYoke? Basically I want my drones/soundscapes/noise playing in Mulch while launching clips in Live also. Ive asked on the Mulch forum and Computer Music's forum to no avail, is this a really stupid question?
Any help would be great, thanks.

Well, Mulch doesn't send any MIDI, and I can't imagine LIVE sends much in the way of MIDI control values, so MIDIYoke won't help much. But you could stream audio via something like Elevayta's Streamboy from one host to the other. You can check it out here: http://www.elevayta.com/
You could also run each in tandem and simply control each via something like MIDIYoke, if that was what you had in mind.

If you could run me through how to do this or give me a link that would be great.

I tried Streamboy to do this actually, but for some reason, Mulch would keep throwing up a driver conflict type error. Seems I couldn't have Live open alongside Mulch. If anyone has successfully streamed from Mulch to Live, I'd be interested to know how !!!

Tobybear has a similar solution to Streamboy, though I could never get it to work. Theres also VAC but I never got this to work under WinXP.........poo

I've been able to run Logic (win) alongside another audio app using wormhole (using Logic as an instruments bank) but a lot depends on your drivers as not all apps and drivers support running two asio apps at once - see if there is an option to share the driver.
Alternatively doesn't Live run as a rewire slave or is it only master? If it can run as a slave then you could theoretically insert a plugin that supports rewire in Audiomulch and then use that to run Live - the two plugins I know of that can do that are the VST versions of FL Studio and Plogue Bidule (you need a full license though) - I keep asking for someone to design a dedicated Rewire plugin - maybe someday. It would be interesting to have a setup running Audiomulch, Live and Bidule all in one process

energyXT is a sort of hybrid of live and audiomulch in somerespects.
I've been experimenting running eXT inside mulch to trigger beats etc with some success in its Live mode. eXT disk streaming is a bit of cpu gobbler though (not huge, but more than one would expect): though its fine for hosting vsti's like halion or whatever.
eXT could also be run inside Live I daresay, and you could set up some mulch-like patches...though without all of mulchs very handy contraptions.
It would be great if mulch was available as a vst plug.
