I was wondering what the size limitations of files are on myspace.com. Can you put up rared files? I have some massive audio files I would like to share.

the only stuff you can have hosted on myspace are the mp3 files. I do not remember what the size limitations are. But you are only allowed to have 4 songs up there.

You may be able to host rar files at the auritorium, but i am not sure on that.

You can host any media files on
http://www.archive.org
and then using html you can put links on your Myspace.com page. You can look at me and my partner's myspace page for an example. I could be wrong but I think the size, number of files and bandwidth are unlimited and free on Archive.org. It is for us (so far)! Newbie Brad

Probably! I have deleted files from my Archive.org collection before and they looked truly deleted, but I guess with a name like Archive.org you can't be sure. If you are looking to host non-secure media files, it seems a bargain (free).

I don't think so. I think Brad means you can set up links in your bio section.

If you have webspace though you can use flamplayer to stream whatever MP3s you choose

http://www.ourmedia.org/ is a kind of a web page front end for archive.org. It allows you to upload and manage your stuff etc. etc.
