xRAVENx's track is indeed one of the top tracks from a top man who did a hell of a lot of excellent work to help this CD set get made. It just goes to show Markus' character after all the work he did, then ordering a BIG BUNCH of CDs and then voluntarily removing his track so we'd have room for others. Awesome indeed mate.snooky wrote:xRAVENx's track (among others) is totally beautifull, it kinda sad that it isn't on the CD, but listening to it now in the bonus section
awesome effort yall!
Also, Emdot, who sweat like a banshee to make sure the track list melded and fit -- you're a major champ me mate! Thanks for all you've done and for helping pull our arses out of a major fire. Until Emdot came along, we weren't even sure we could do two CDs...
I am SO PROUD OF you lot!! If you ever need ANYTHING or just wanna vist China yer gonna be my guest... (Noodles and Rice on the house and cheap Qing Dao beers is all I can afford, but you'd meet some warm & soulful friends... )
Many Blessings all you wonderful bastards!

I'm still really impressed with how this came out. The graphics, printing and packaging are all top notch.

diek, you also have keep in mind that the act of ordering the 170 something pre-orders all at once would push the cd up on a list based on the quantity of orders, so that stat is a little inaccurate in the first few days...we'll see where it ends up in a few days when things balance out...Diek wrote:Just out of curiosity... How is the selling going? I've seen at CD Baby as the second best seller, but at this places you never know if it's real or if it's a deference they have with new incomers.

But the cool thing is that the pre-orders not only paid for the project and generated a good sum of donation money, but it also put us on that top seller list, which is probably pretty good publicity for getting the attention of the CDBaby crowd.Hink wrote:..the act of ordering the 170 something pre-orders all at once would push the cd up on a list based on the quantity of orders...
Hmm, and good bragging rights in our sales promotions.

agreed...I was just pointing out that it probably wasn't something that cd baby did for a new cd...it was all those pre-orders (which were and are vital to the production)emdot_ambient wrote:But the cool thing is that the pre-orders not only paid for the project and generated a good sum of donation money, but it also put us on that top seller list, which is probably pretty good publicity for getting the attention of the CDBaby crowd.Hink wrote:..the act of ordering the 170 something pre-orders all at once would push the cd up on a list based on the quantity of orders...

Bah...obvious. Somewhere where intelligent journalists write brilliant, favorable reviews and make people buy them because they feel they have to.freeztar wrote:I didn't get a woof on either of my deliveries....

I have a long list of relevant music mags here, uhm, lemme see...ah...eh...sheesh...
I have no clue. Maybe we should send one each to mags where people actually listen and not just make music? I reckon Computer Music and Future Music might not be the right mags since they mostly review software, gear, and sample collections...oh well, FM have musician profiles...maybe we can get profiled like Nick Rhodes did!!! Yay!

I already got approval to have our CD reviewed on the Phantom Tollbooth website (I do CD reviews for them - get to keep the CDs!!!) www.tollbooth.org If you send one to me, I'll see that the main editor gets it. She promised that she would send it to one of the other writers for the site.
I was planning on just sending her a copy - but if you have spare promos, then please shoot one to me. She doesn't want her mailing address published on-line.
PM me if you want to go through with this.
