You might find this a ridiculous question, but I don't have enough experience with this stuff.
I'm looking for a simple host that would allow me to run my guitar signal through it and add VST (and possibly directX) plugins to it. I've tried quite a few so far (RT Player, SpinAudio FX Processor, Forte) and they were good - Brainspawn Forte even works with DX stuff. Still none of them opens Waves GTR modelling software. I understand that Steinberg V-Stack opens GTR. Can V-Stack do the same, i.e. can I play my guitar through in real-time? Or is it aimed only at VSTi synths (that's something I don't need)?
