Calling all ye Reaktor stalwarts. Here's a challenge:

I was listening and admiring HanafiH's lovely new piece at http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=117746 and asked him about Frippertronics. He said that he made a custom one using Reaktor...and described it thusly...
"It's essentially the best of the delays available in that version with a simple feedback loop going through an amp stage to control the decay. The louder the feed back the longer the decay. I also did something tricksy so that the midi clock could be furkled up into a delay time in order to avoid calculating ms values."

I definately don't wanna be a wannabe and realize that it's incredibly indolent of me to not have the foggiest idea as to how to come close to what he put together ...BUT, I was wondering whether anyone wanted to take up the challenge. Heh-heh...I hear it's FUN to paint fences!!! I'm just a poor lonely gearlusting fan-boy wot made the switch from Reaktor Sessions to Reaktor 5, is all.

Why not just ask him for his ensemble?

Good point. I reckon I could. He says it's reaktor 3 and i wasn't sure Reaktor 5 was backwards compatible. Just thought it would be fun to see what someone could do with the know-how and the new Reaktor tools, I guess.

I'll be happy to convert it to R5 for you if you wish.

Diedrich Zobel (aka Didier Leboz)did a pretty cool Frippertronics style delay for R4; it's in the UL.
In fact, I'm working on a synth that uses it :hihi:

Thanks, ew...I'll check it out.

Anyone with a dongle can do it..Eric or myself both have one.

Nope, no dongle. I'll check out the Zobel version, if I can find it. Thanks, sickle.

It's called Pussyfootin...so I figure it's Fripp related. Does it need not be converted? If so...and if you don't mind...I'd be greatly appreciative. They both seem fairly long in the tooth. This millennia though.

Post

the frippertronics one will do the legacy version bit as its an r4 ensemble, used it a lot when i had sessions

Pussyfootin is a cool effect, but it's mono..Giove me ten minutes and I'll have a stereo path for you..

Pretty cool effect..

I have no idea how this works, but you'll definately get some long delays going, so don't leave it unattended as it built up while I was smoking and freaked out my co-workers..

:hihi:

Here ya go:
