I think the Dead Quietenator would be really powerful if it could be tempo-synced with the host.

I own the Dead Quietenator VST version and it sounds even better than the sound examples show, because they are just mp3 and you all know that the mp3 format destroys the original quality....
The silence is much more clean in my host.

for the price its a bargain....

I'm sure the Studio Visitor is very powerful, and likely worth it, but at those prices, I suspect they're only interested in servicing the pro studio market.

Also, I personally doubt that I'll ever have enough visitors, of any kind, to my home studio while tracking, to allow me to develop the 'ears' necessary to be able to apply this plug-in appropriately.

I'll probably have to settle for having the cat get underfoot occasionally....
