And when Samantha Eggar eats here external womb in the Brood, if that didn't actually make a cool sound, it sure should have.
Maybe also the slaps at the beginning of Shivers (there so dull 8mm thud-like).

I meant bad A as in bad-a as in badass. I thought it was tight, but not a horror movie. The Chase wrote:Anyway, I don't consider Horror but Sci-Fi. YMMV.

No, but you have the snarls of the mutant kids to make up for it..shamann wrote:And when Samantha Eggar eats here external womb in the Brood, if that didn't actually make a cool sound, it sure should have.

American Werewolf in London's howl blew the f**king snot out if the Howling..shamann wrote:Any line or werewolf sound from the Howling.
You should know better.
The backgound sounds opf the changing werewolves in Dog Soldiers were top notch and sicker than sick, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to isolate those from the forground noise..

I just finished watching the Body Snatchers (the one that came out a few years ago and was set at a military base and starred Gabrielle Anwar). This movie had a decent eerie soundtrack. Especially at the end when the voice over was saying in slow-mo "Where you gonna go? Where you gonna run? Where you gonna hide? Nowhere... 'Cause there's no one like you left." The eerie sounds then segues into a nice closing credit theme.
Also, I am a huge fan of The Prophecy trilogy (the one that stars Christopher Walken as Archangel Gabriel). This series has a great soundtrack, especially with a few First Nations motifs added to David C. Williams score.

The 1st Prophecy has come ACE samples in it..
"I can lay you out and fill your mouth with your mother's feces.."
"Eternity, in that sagging skin suit.."
"But I want you to come home with me.."
Hey, Rabban, do you still have access to the INvasion of the Body Snatchers? Can you rip me some samples?

great scene!herodotus wrote:The first scene in Lost Highway with Robert Blake:
Scary Guy: "We've met before"
Protagonist: "I don't think so"
Scary Guy: "Sure we have. At your house. You invited me"

Scary Guy: "Sure we have. In fact, I'm there right now. Call me."
That is one of the most creepy scenes ever.
Nothing even happens, but.......what a master of mood that man is.
Fantastic sound design in that film too, interesting surroud spatial manipulation in the opening sequence in the house. Lynch's sound designs are so much more intricate than most directors.
